Kwame Aware Obeng popularly known as A-plus is a musician, political activist and currently the leader of "The People's Project" has spoken against the $150 COVID-19 test fee charged at the Kotoka International Airport.
For some time now many who travel to Ghana have express their displeasure over the collection of test fee also, Kwame A-plus has express how unhappy he is.
The political activist was shocked , why the $150 COVID-19 test fee is expensive than the money used to buy flight ticket from Ghana to Nigeria.He thinks such decisions are made to extort money from the citizens.
A-plus also talked about some countries conducting free COVID-19 test, using UAE has an example,he said UAE conducts free test for his citizens and even foreigners.
The Leader of "The People's Project" revealed that the amount collected goes to individuals who have planned to steal from individuals.
He suggested, it would be for the betterment of our nation if the amount charged as COVID-19 test fee is reduced.
