The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Johnson Asiedu Nketia popularly known as General Mosquito has tossed shots after Parliament casted a ballot Hon. Alban Bagbin as the new Speaker of Parliament.
As per him, Ghana at this stage need not bother with a Speaker of Parliament who goes around with an emergency vehicle following him yet needs a solid and vivacious individual.
Asiedu Nketia talking in a meeting expressed that Alban Bagbin has essential information and experience as a Parliamentarian for quite a while and accepts that whenever decided in favor of, will work admirably in Parliament.
He said “We don’t need a speaker who you’ve to carry into his car and out of his car. Let’s be serious. We don’t need a speaker who always needs an ambulance”.
Voting in the parliamentary chamber have seen Hon. Alban Bagbin as winner. Hon. Alban Bagbin is currently the speaker of the 8th parliament of Ghana.
