Hip Hop Artist Big Homie Wes supports a drainage project in Africa

The Vermont rapper,Big Homie Wes donated an undisclosed amount to the Yalewa Zongo in Agona Swedru(Central Region, Ghana) to aid in the construction of a drainage in the community.


Wesley J. Turner better known by the stage name Big Homie Wes is a hip pop artist, a producer and radio personality born in Texas, but currently living in Vermont, in the United States .

The Veromont rapper generosity toward the community was inspired by a video he saw  on Facebook.

 In the video the Assembly member of  Yalewa Zongo in Agona Swedru(Central Region, Ghana)  Shaban Salisu appealed for support to construct the drainage which has been the community’s biggest  infrastructural problem for the past 23 years.

 

On March 16, 2021, Shaban Salisu who is the assembly member of Yalewa Zongo took to his  facebook page appreciating the donor," A Musician called BIG HOMMIE WES based in USA donated and undisclosed amount to the good people of Yalewa Zongo to be used in the construction of Drainage in the community. We are very grateful. We  pray for more Hits songs".
